Frequently asked questions

What level do I need?

An advanced level: pre-college, bachelor and master students, or graduate pianists preparing for competitions and auditions. If in doubt, send me a link to a recent performance and I will reply.

I already have a teacher. Can I join?

Of course. The lessons are designed to complement the work with your teacher, not to replace it. If you wish, I will send them a short written report of the lesson.

Can I book more than one date?

Yes. Each date is booked separately: come once, or attend all three afternoons.

How does the scholarship work?

For each date, one place is reserved for a young pianist recommended by their teacher. Selection is by video.

What if I can no longer come?

Up to 7 days before, your fee is carried over to another date. After that it is non-refundable, but you can pass your lesson on to another pianist.
