Teaching
Piano Courses & Masterclass
I am passionate about teaching because I consider it my personal contribution to society. Over the years I have helped many pianists solve technical and musical problems they had come to believe were insurmountable, with lasting results. My method focuses on:
- Connection between gesture and sound
- Performance Enhancement
- Domain of musical structures
- Self-efficacy & Self Coaching
Masterclass 2026/27
Officina 440 - Steinway & Sons, Milan
Five individual sessions from November 2026 to April 2027, hosted in an exceptional setting: a studio built around two Steinway grand pianos, maintained by some of Italy’s finest piano technicians.
This is high-level, individually tailored work — focused on identifying and resolving the technical issues that hold pianists back, not generic coaching. Admission is by selection (video + student CV), with two tracks available — 10 or 5 hours of individual lessons.
Enrolled students gain access to real career opportunities: a final concert in Madrid, prize concerts, scholarships, and an official certificate of participation.
Afternoons at Officina 440
Single lessons – Milan, 2027
Advanced private lessons booked one date at a time, for pianists preparing competitions, auditions and exams. Each afternoon closes with a run-through in front of the other students.
Dates: 23 January, 20 February, 10 April 2027, 2:30 to 6:00 pm.
I am genuinely happy to help my students solving their problems; each solution I propose has been experienced firsthand on myself.
The stage is the most demanding, and the most effective, teacher: you have to get on stage well before you finish your studies and learn how to use what many call “fear” as a positive charge.
Conservatory of Music “Luigi Canepa” – Sassari
I am a Piano Professor at the Conservatory of Music “Luigi Canepa” in Sassari, Italy, where I teach students of the higher education piano programs.
Alfonso X El Sabio University - Madrid
I am a Piano Professor at the Faculty of Music of Alfonso X El Sabio University (UAX) in Madrid, where I guide students through every stage of their academic journey: from the Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to the Italian university program), to the Master’s programs, and the Advanced Specialization courses. These pathways include both flexible, open-enrollment study options and the prestigious Artist Diploma, designed for highly talented musicians aiming to refine their artistry at the highest level.
The Faculty of Music is located in the vibrant city of Madrid, just a short walk from the Pío XII metro station and easily accessible from the airport. With its safe, efficient, and around-the-clock public transport system, Madrid offers students not only outstanding academic opportunities but also an inspiring cultural environment in one of Europe’s most dynamic capitals.
Leon Piano Meeting
The Leon Piano Meeting is my main summer masterclass, in the charming city of León, Spain.
Every July, pianists from all over the world gather in León to work at the highest level in an atmosphere of genuine sharing: of music, of the stage and of friendship. This combination of rigour and community is what defines the Leon Piano Meeting, of which I am co-founder.
In addition to the individual masterclass, students can enjoy several workshops, students & teachers concerts, stage-training lessons.
The most outstanding students are offered concert engagements in Europe, scholarships for the following edition of the Leon Piano Meeting and for annual high specialization masterclasses in Italy and Spain, benefits within the WPTA network, and a possible recommendation for the publication and distribution of a CD with KNS Classical.
